This is to confirm that Westminster International successfully installed a 24 CCTV system within the DFID Ghana office and that the installation was carried out in a professional manner. We are pleased with the performance of the system as well as the quality of support given through a dedicated telephone line and with the back up of their local agent.
Background
Westminster won a competition to provide a security system to DFID Ghana in the autumn of 2002. The proposal received provided value for money.
Westminster delivered to a tight timetable and when they were unable to provide equipment specified they provided equipment of a higher specification at their cost. While this is to be expected they responded in a very proactive way as they strive to keep the customer satisfied.
The installation phase was not without difficulty as often is this case the building electrics posed specific unforeseen problems. Throughout this process they remained focused and diligent to overcome difficulties to deliver the system that meets our demands and needs.
Recommendation
Being a UK government department and part of the British High Commission security is a high priority for us; this was the case pre Iraq as much as it is now. The system provided by Westminster gives us all we need yet is unobtrusive and easy to use. I commend them to you and would be pleased to show the system we operate.
