Mini Portable Personal Locator

Westminster's new Mini Portable Personal Locator is designed for personal safety and security tracking applications providing location monitoring and alarm handling functionality.

Lone Workers, Vulnerable Witnesses, VIPs and Security Staff are often placed in vulnerable situations or require assistance of the Police, Special Forces or their own employers. The Mini Portable offers a wide range of functionality to monitor persons in a discrete way and verify alarms with maximum privacy of the user.

The Mini Portable Personal Locator is equipped with special facilities such as Man-Down alarms, Panic Buttons and the facility to remote listen-in should an alarm be raised.

Robust enclosure

The enclosure is compact (97x52x18mm), discreet and has been designed to have the look of a portable media player.

Alarm Verification

After activating the alarm switch the Mini Portable will automatically establish voice call with a pre-programmed phone number. The position and status will be transmitted during the emergency voice call.

Communication via: GPRS, SMS and CSD-Data
Configuration can be changed at any distance via the GSM network.

Advanced power management

There are 6 different power modes available to reduce the unit's power consumption and take control of the operating time.

For both GPS and GSM systems there are several power save modes available that can be configured to meet the best operating settings.

The functionality of the power management system ensures maximum battery lifetime.

Operating time between: 24 hours and 8 days.

Silent alarms:

• Motion active/passive;
• The person enters or leaves an area;
• The person is deviating from the route;
• Battery-capacity under 10%;
• The MP is being switched off;
• No movement for a pre-programmed period of time.
