The Westminster Modular De-mining Suit MDS 450 has been designed to conform to UN International Mine Action Standards (IMAS). The MDS 450 provides full frontal protection for the Deminer for use in survey and clearance operations.
The MDS 450 consists of a vest with removable apron, removable arm and shoulder protectors and a pair of leggings with reinforced knees, a Terrain HD Deminer's Visor provides face protection. The MDS 450 is manufactured using new light-weight Aramid and the outer shell is flame retardant hard wearing Cordora material .The MDA-450 is supplied in a carry bag.
