A non-magnetic mine prodder for locating mines at depths of up to 250mm. Primarily intended for situations where a magnetic device could activate a mine, it is equally suitable for use where magnetic fields are not considered a risk.
The prodder is lightweight and supplied with a carrier web suitable for personnel in service webbing equipment.
The mine prodder is certified as conforming to the STANAG 2897 Annex C standard for contact use, a necessary requirement for all non-magnetic EOD equipment, and is supplied packed and over-packed with non-magnetic materials.
