The Terramag is a versatile, cost effective magnetometer that can be used for Explosive Ordnance Clearance (EOC) and Counter Terrorist Search Operations.
Operation
The magnetometer detects the magnetic field from ferrous objects such as Unexploded Ordnance (UXO), and weapons such as rifles and handguns. The magnetometer gives an audible detection signal and has an easy to read LCD display for pinpointing targets. By using the digital readout the operator is able to use polarity differences to help distinguish between vertical and horizontal targets, this is crucial for EOC operations.
