Seaxe Portable Road Barrier

This unit is a single lattice version of the Lazy Tongs (with similar tyre destructors) and was specially designed for the Home Office and Ministry of Defence in 1967 for vehicle control at borders and checkpoints.

Seaxe™ Mk1

This unit uses ten joinable sections to extend to 140 feet (with 470 tyre invasive spikes), enabling an Exit/Entrance pattern to be constructed at a checkpoint, thereby ensuring total control over vehicles during 'Stop and Search' procedures. Housed in a purpose made, man-portable, carrying box. Delivered complete with a spares pack.

Seaxe™ Mk2

Similar to the Mk1 but with a range of performance enhancements. The Mk2 has kinetic energy absorbers and slider mechanisms to facilitate easy deployment and also has under-surface impingers to give stability on the road surface during vehicle impact.
