Security & Explosives Training Courses Introduction

Westminster International, working with their strategic partner ISSEE, offers a world-class centre of excellence for explosives training at all levels, from foundation courses for those with no previous knowledge or experience, through to professionals engaged in Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and IED Awareness Day, Booby Traps, CBRN IEDD and Introduction to Manual Techniques.

The International School for Security and Explosives Education (ISSEE) remains one of the few establishments in the world where people from a variety of backgrounds may study in a range of explosives, counter-terrorism, search and security-related subjects and gain City and Guilds of London Institute accreditation.

ISSEE instructors, each of whom has many years experience instructing and operating in the British Army or police, have qualified as civilian teachers. This supports ISSEE's constant quest for quality in every aspect of its work and means that we can tailor the delivery style to suit the student group, whether they are civilian or from the military or emergency services.

ISSEE operates a training area and indoor facilities to offer an established suite of training programmes including search techniques, 1st Responder, IEDD, Post Bomb Scene Management and are designed to address the effects of terrorist action.

Whilst ISSEE specialises in, and has a core competence in all aspects of explosives, Westminster welcomes enquiries from commercial organisations as well as government, military and police units and is confident that we can meet virtually any requirement related to security, counter terrorism and explosives.
