The MET30+ 3f is the most advanced multi-frequency metal detector on the market today. Operating at three crystal tuned frequencies - low, medium and high the detector will automatically select the optimum frequency for each application. This feature is particularly useful when either the characteristics or the packing of the product being inspected can vary.

The MET30+ hf is a new high-frequency addition to the MET30+ range; this detector provides the highest sensitivity level achievable for nonferrous and stainless steel metals - up to 30% higher than standard detectors. This unit is particularly effective when inspecting dry foods such as biscuits, potato chips and flour.

System

Automatic Set-up

Conductive products, eg. bread, meat, cheese require specific settings in order to achieve maximum performance. The MET30+ has the ability to store up to 100 different product settings in its memory and will automatically calibrate for bulk and packaged products as they pass through the system. In this way, optimum performance is ensured and the risk of products being falsely rejected is reduced.

Automatic Product Tracking

Conductive products often vary in effect on the detector during the course of production. The MET30+ continuously updates the currently selected product compensation setting so as to ensure optimum sensitivity.

Metalised film

The MET30+ provides an automatic facility for switching to a metalised film detector to suit products packaged in this material.

Security Codes

Three levels of selectable security codes are provided:
1. Operator access to change set-up mode
2. Supervisor access to change set-up mode
3. Engineering access to factory set-up parameters.

RS 232/422/485 datalink

Allows printing of reject reports, networking with PC and Quality Assurance information.

Datachek Management System

The MET30+ incorporates options for remote monitoring of detector performance either individually or as part of a group of detectors.

Virtual Engineer

Provides detailed product 'signal' analysis to ensure optimal performance levels.

Modem support

The MET30+ can be linked through a modem to the Lock service center for immediate troubleshooting and support.
