The MEGASTAR is the most powerful portable rechargeable floodlight; it uses 4 x 36W fluorescent tubes giving a light output equivalent to 1000W tungsten light. It can be switched between high and low light levels. This unit is supplied complete with a light head, extendable tripod, 12V 24A/h or 38A/h power pack and an intelligent mains charger.
The robust, lightweight aluminium tripod has double extending safety locking sections, which can be secondarily secured using the attached safety pins. The tripod locks into the power pack utilising the weight of the power pack to give stability to the light and tripod.
The MEGASTAR is suitable for emergency services, military, construction and maintenance sites, sports events and other temporary lighting needs. Six units will illuminate an area of a training football pitch.
