The EB950 CR Armstrong Barrier stands 1160mm above foundation level with the boom
1000mm above road level. The arm is constructed from high strength steel section, with strengthening plates, which locates in two catcher frames positioned either side of the carriageway.

The hydraulic power pack provides 100% duty cycling with an operating time of 6 seconds. Counterbalance valves and dampeners give a smooth operation, whilst anti-burst valves give added security to the unit.

The barrier has an integrally mounted 'control panel', containing power supply isolator (230V, IPH, 50Hz-10A) and control to the hydraulic valves. The barrier can be connected to any combination of access control equipment via the PLC controller. Although push button control is the preferred method of operation.

The cam barrel lockable hinged front door provides access to the electrical control panel, hydraulic pump, manual operation facility and the limit switches. The all steel constructed cabinet and cover are shot blasted to give a clean, grease free surface providing maximum keying effect for the two pack high zinc primer, 40 microns, followed by a yellow (RAL 1007) textured polyester powder coated top coat, 40 microns.
