A portable or fixed under-vehicle inspection system used to identify any suspect objects attached to the underside of vehicles.
The all-new Portable and Fixed Under-Vehicle Inspection System uses patented technology that provides a real-time single image of the underside of any vehicle that has made a single pass over the system. The single image is viewed direct via the security operator's computer and can be interrogated to zoom into any suspicious areas, allowing the user to scrutinise images as close as 1mm enabling identification and confirmation of any foreign/suspicious objects.

The Under-Vehicle Inspection System allows identification of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), Foreign Objects, Suspicious Packages and Weapons.
The system also includes full ANPR (Auto Number-Plate Recognition) via bi-directional views (front and back) fitted as standard; allowing full traceability of the vehicle once linked into a registered ANPR License Database (optional extra).
Installation of the Under-Vehicle Inspection System (UVIS) is simple and quick allows the operator the flexibility to utilise the system as either a portable device or in a fixed application.
The Westminster UVIS is equipped with seven cameras that provide an almost 3D image of the bottom of the vehicles.

The UVIS will scan the bottom of each vehicle, providing the security operator in the security booth with a scan image of the bottom of the vehicle, from which he can determine if there are any suspicious items located.
The image scan will be recorded against the ANPR plate number.
Vehicles that have previously entered the premises will obviously already have a recorded scan image of the bottom of the vehicle; when they enter the premises again, the new scanned image can be overlaid onto the previous scan.
The new overlaid image will automatically be turned off and on repeatedly, this has the effect of making any changes (suspicious items present) to the previous scan image very noticeable.
