Blast Protection Wall Cladding

Westminster International's Blast Protection Wall CladdingTabreClad is a dry fitted system for the enhanced blast protection of block work structures.

It has been tested live with charges generating the overpressures equivalent to the Oklahoma City bomb at a distance of 32 metres or the Manchester City Centre bomb at a distance of 23 metres.

TabreClad takes the proven principles of the TABRE® system and applies them in conjunction with existing building products and techniques to create an aesthetically pleasing, rapidly fitted, blast resistant structure.

Suitable for use internally and externally, it is best used for the localised protection of key facilities within a building or structure.

These include IT centres, communications facilities, mailrooms and safe havens for personnel.

It will also offer benefits for facilities used for storage of explosives and munitions.

TabreClad can be applied to block work partitioning walls to reduce the risk of sympathetic detonation of segregated explosives.

Its ability to absorb blast and cut down the levels reflected will help confine the event to the storage bay in which the explosion occurs.
