Where any suitably accredited safety film has already been installed, the Elite and Select can be retro-fitted to "anchor" an applied film directly to the window frame.
In extreme situations such as bomb-blast or hurricanes, this combination is designed to provide a far more substantial protective solution than safety film alone.
Both Elite and Select anchoring systems, in combination with a fully accredited safety film, are designed to provide advanced protection in the event of:
- Bomb blast or other explosion;
- Forced entry burglary or violent attack;
- Hurricane and high-speed wind-borne debris
Elite
Elite is simple to apply and ideal for adapting to virtually any type of window frame profile.
- Available in three finishes: black, white and grey;
- Packaged in 100ft coil lengths for ease of transport and minimum waste.
Anchoring - Tested to the Draft ISO 16933 Standard
- 8.52 psi overpressure and 100Kg TNT
- Achieved GSA Class 3A Pass Rating - Protection Level = HIGH
Select
Designed to match the finish of metal framed windows, Select is available in a range of different profiles and can also be custom made to suit.
- Available in 32 standard colours to blend discreetly with the design of existing windows and door frames;
- Packaged in 8ft and 10ft lengths.
As part of our extensive testing, both systems have been tested to and have passed GSA standards (blast resistance and glass hazard mitigation) and ISO draft standards (16933 Glass in Building Explosion resistant security glazing) when fitted in combination with FT800 safety film.
