Currency Detector - Ultra

Ultra Violet (UV) light has long been recommended to check for counterfeit banknotes as they are printed with UB security features only visible under good quality UV light.

UV printing is not only commonly used banknotes but also official documents such as passports and driving licences as a protection against fraud.

The Ultra model is equipped with a powerful and heavy duty 9W H-tube lamp which will highlight all security features printed on the banknotes and official documents making this device a cost effective and easy way to protect against counterfeits. The Ultra model also come equipped with 2 white LED's in order to check for the watermarks printed on banknotes providing 2 levels of security.

An optional extra is the addition of a Magnetic Detector (*MD) which will identify if the Magnetic Thread (MT) is present on the note and that it is printed using the Magnetic links (MG) available only to the Central Banks therefore providing an optimal 3 levels of security.
