The Authenticator ensures a fast and comfortable acquisition and transmission of personal and document data to a connected tracing system. Furthermore it independently inspects document specific security features. Its web-based software architecture allows an easy update of the internal document definitions and analysis software.
With the Authenticator 200 the inspection results are instantly displayed on the connected TFT display. An intuitive user interface allows the user to access details for each of the results. The system is conveniently operated via a standard keyboard and a mouse including comfortable functions for comprehensive document inspection.
The Authenticator line of modern full page ID document readers is the optimum base for building efficient and reliable systems in the border check point environment. The Authenticator model is the newest member in this line and provides high speed data capture and transmission to any standard Windows XP computer as well as all the powerful and sophisticated features for checking the optical security features on today's high tech passports. This includes special optically variable device (OVD) features, as well as analog and digital watermarks of various types.
Due to proven compliance with ISO standards and excellent results in recent RFID interoperability tests the Authenticator readers are best suited for systems solutions that work with the new electronic passports containing contact-less memory chips. RFID and optical data is read within a few seconds and without any operator intervention.
