Westminster's Passport Identifier addresses
today's stringent security requirements through modern biometric technology. The compact full-page reader is the newest and smallest member of this award-winning product family.
Optimized for use in both large and small environments, the cost-effective scanner enables high-speed data capture from RFID memory chips, such as those used in e-passports, visas and ID cards. The system uses a USB interface to transmit the captured
data for review and validation prior to granting entry to a protected area.
The full-page scanning capability makes it ideally suited for high-volume processing scenarios, such as airports and seaports. The optical data of an entire document (up to 5.9" x 7.4") is automatically scanned within a few seconds. To ensure optimal system reliability, optional features include high-performance LED UV illumination and Passport Identifier runtime software.
