SIA Close Protection Training

Our SIA CP Training course has carefully been combined with the skills learnt from Police and Military Close Protection to give you one of the most in depth and comprehensive Executive Protection courses on the market.

This 16-day course is not only aimed at ex-Forces Close Protection Training Coursescandidates, but also at civilians wishing to enter the industry at the highest level. By keeping the course numbers to a minimum, Longmoor Security Training ensures a high trainer pupil ratio, as a result we are very proud of our unique 100% pass rate to date.

All trainers are qualified and operationally experienced and have all served with the world-renowned Royal Military Police Close Protection Unit or UK Home Office Police Protection Units as instructors.

SIA Hostile Environment Close Protection Training

Our Hostile Environment course has been designed using years of experience gained from the Royal Military Police, the world leaders in Close Protection, to prepare client to work in executive protection and armed hostile environment protection.

Our 3-week Hostile Environment Close Protection Course is aimed at anyone wishing to enter the industry at the highest level. By keeping the course numbers to a minimum we ensure a high trainer pupil ratio, as a result we are very proud of our unique 100% pass rate to date.

The course is run in Banbury and Slovenia, it includes a firearms package that trains you in the use of rifles and Glock pistols. The dual weapon shoots and tactics which are included are unlike any other training company. Longmoor Security's tactical firearms course is the only UK accredited course of its kind.

Close Protection Medical Training

Our Close Protection Medical course is designed to take you to a standard that is required of the modern Close Protection Operator. You will be taught the skills associated with rapid assessment, stabilisation and transfer of both the trauma victim and those suffering a medical emergency.

Our course has been developed by medical experts in conjunction with seasoned close protection operators, and is designed to prepare you for medical emergencies that you may experience in high risk and hostile environments. Our course is fully recognized by the Security Industry Authority.

The 4-day approved course is for those requiring extended skills. The training includes both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, designed to develop a good, all round close protection operator. Our instructors come from Special Forces Medical Units and civilian paramedic backgrounds; all have recent operational experience.

The course will prepare you in the following basic skills; Scene Safety, Airway Management, Oxygen Therapy, Spinal Immobilisation, Defibrillation, Trauma and Medical Emergencies. You will also be trained in more advanced skills which include; Cannulation, Fluid Therapy, Advanced Trauma - Chest, Abdominal, Head and Extremity (including Tourniquets and Quick Clot).

About Our Courses

Longmoor Security's training programmes are registered, through our awarding body, to accept MOD Enhanced Learning Credits. ELC funding is available for those people wishing to pursue higher level learning.
