The Stealth ROV2 is the product of more than 21 years of ROV evolution, producing a very reliable system that may be small in size, but not in features.
The unique construction of the Stealth ROV2 starts with the framework. The exoskeleton design uses high tech durable plastics that are immune to salt water corrosion. This provides the ultimate crash frame to protect all other components of the ROV.
A syntactic floatation block is mounted at the top the frame with ballasting weights at the bottom. This provides the vehicle with its stability. A large handle / recovery bail atop the frame makes recovery and handling a breeze.
Four identical 1/3 HP thrusters provide the mobility. The two horizontal thrusters control forward, reverse, and turning, while the two transversal thrusters provide up, down and lateral movement. The diagonal mounting of the vertical thrusters produces approximately 40% more thrust both vertically and laterally than other systems using separate vertical and lateral thrusters.
Intelligent
The Stealth ROV2 topside, computer controller with its daylight viewable, graphical interface, allows complete automated control of the ROV functions. Settings are provided for auto-depth, auto-heading, auto altitude and vertical trim as well as for monitoring the ROVs internal environment.
The computer controller may also be used for processing other Windows based options such as sonar or vehicle tracking, thereby eliminating the need to purchase and transport extra computer equipment. Onscreen displays simplify navigation and provide valuable information during video playback.
Easy
The wireless remote control is small, lightweight and offers full piloting and camera controls.



Compact
The Stealth ROV2's small footprint makes it easy to transport to different sites. In the water, the Stealth2 can fit into small places and manoeuvre through difficult terrain.
Durable
Strong, light-weight side-shields protect the Stealth ROV2 and it's components from collisions. A black-anodized aluminium tube, an optically-clear acrylic dome and an Acetyl rear dome protect the electronics to a depth of 1,000 feet (300 metres).

The Stealth ROV2 grows when you need more from your ROV. Optional lasers, manipulators, scanning sonars and multiple cameras may be installed.

Work Platform

he Stealth2 provides a sturdy work platform for many other options. i.e. being fitted with an interrupter for bomb removal; managing a Sub-bottom profiler for archaeological work; carrying a gradiometer for pipe and cable tracking; being mounted with special test equipment for structural analysis of concrete, specialized sediment samplers for biological analysis etc.
