Taut Wire Systems

Electrostatic Field Disturbance Sensors WG-EFDS is a terrain following, volumetric sensor that creates an electrostatic field around a set of 4 or 8 parallel field and sense wires. The processor senses changes in the electrostatic field when events, such as intruders penetrating between the wires, take place. The wires can be mounted on free-standing poles, existing fences, walls or roof tops.

Taut Wire Systems Taut wire sensors utilize either plain or barbed wire strands attached to electro-mechanical sensors in order to detect changes in tension on the fence fabric, rather than the vibration or stress associated with fence disturbance sensors.
