Features
The Metor 200 has 8 individual overlapping metal detectors in one frame. This unique coil
system guarantees uniform first rate detection performance throughout the frame opening. It provides
outstanding performance and discrimination with this unique multi-zone system.
Its integrated construction means that it can be installed or dismantled in 10 to 15 minutes by one
person. It provides comprehensive self-diagnostics that pinpoint problems. The detector's internal
circuitry, external connections and environment are constantly monitered. The detection circuitry is
continuously active. At no time is it possible to slide, toss or pass a weapon through the system
without it being detected. It also detects metals like stainless steel, aluminium, zinc alloys and
mixed alloys.
Metor's excellent discrimination, high uniformity and fast reset function guarantee maximum
throughput in high traffic locations. The intelligent traffic and alarm counter calculates the traffic
flow and the number of caused alarms. The unit can also be used bi-directionally. It has automatic
adjustment, without manual intervention, for power variations over the voltage range 90 - 264 VAC.
Metor can automatically measures and displays the level of ambient noise in the surrounding environment.
This assists in the selection of a suitable installation site. The automatic sensitivity program selects
the correct sensitivity for a specific weapon or test object. This elminates the need to find the correct
sensitivity by trial and error, which can be very time consuming.
The movable zone display unit gives alarm information and indicates the level where the detected weapon
is. This unit can operate at a distance of up to 65 meters. Its Digital Signal Processing allows effective
signal analysis that guarantees reliable, accurate and stable detection. DSP prevents changes in
environment EM conditions and temperature variations from impacting on performance. The Metor 200 has
the most user-friendly control unit available and it is fully weatherproof and rugged to withstand harsh
climates ranging from winter conditions to tropical environments.
