New Contract Award – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Westminster is pleased to announce that it has secured a contract for the supply of Hand-Held Explosives Detectors for the detection of explosives to a customer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The dual mode, portable hand-held explosives detector is capable of both vapour and particulate sampling, with a capability of detecting most military and commercially available explosives C4, TNT, Dynamite, PETN, Semtex, EGDN, DMNB, RDX, ANFO, Black powder, Ammonium Nitrate, Urea Nitrate, Nitro-glycerine and TATP.

Formal opening of the new Tema Port facility, Ghana

Westminster Group Plc is pleased to note the formal opening of the new Tema Port facility today, Friday 28th June 2019.

The first phase of the $1.5 billion USD Tema Port expansion project will be formally opened for business today with commercial operations expected to commence on 2 July 2019 when the facility is expected to receive the first vessel to discharge its cargo consignment.

Westminster and our local partner, Scanport, are pleased to confirm that we have a team on the ground which has already undertaken the initial phase of recruitment and training, and that scanning trials have been undertaken ready for commencement of scanning operations.

Westminster is pleased to announce that it has secured a contract for circa $150k USD for the supply and installation of various screening and detection systems to a Hotel located in an East African Country.

New Contract Award – Caribbean Island

Westminster is pleased to announce that it has secured contract for over $200k USD for the supply of a Vehicle Based X-Ray Baggage Screening Solution to a Customs Department of a Caribbean Island.

The system is a totally self-contained X-Ray screening solution that can be rapidly deployed by the customs department to locations of interest where the on-board advanced technology X-Ray Baggage Scanner will be used to detect organic and non organic items such as weapons, explosives and narcotics in baggage and packages.

The system operator is located in a climate-controlled cabin within the vehicle.

The solution can be powered from local power or using its own generator.
