Westminster Aviation Security Ltd. (‘WASS’) is pleased to announce the signing of a Strategic Alliance with JP International Training Limited (‘JP International’).

JP International is one of the premier providers of aviation and security training, with particular focus on their e-learning platform. Based in the UK and established in 2009 the business has expanded throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Whilst its roots are in the heavily regulated aviation industry, their products and services now cover numerous high threat environments.

New: Web Platform, Branding and Marketing Outreach

Westminster has embarked on several new marketing initiatives to expand its global operations.

Website Upgrade

The first phase of the new Westminster website has now gone live which will bring together all the company business unit forums under the one “Group” web platform. The website has been designed to ensure the visitor journey throughout the site is an informative interaction with the Westminster Group and its strong and trusted brand. The new website is still a work in progress with more content and applications constantly being added. The other group websites are in the process of being migrated. The new website brings better focus on the Group’s vast range of LAND, SEA & AIR products and solutions and will in due course encompass a sophisticated e-commerce section and enlarged customer and investor engagement areas.

Speaking about the new website The Westminster Group’s CEO, Peter Fowler, said:

Rebranding

In tandem with developing a new website, a re-branding exercise was completed with the Westminster Group logo being modernised and aligned with tones and formats of the new website. The branding keeps its crest identity with new fonts and colours sharpening the logo bringing it in line with the Group’s brand values.

TV Advertising Campaign

Westminster is also taking the step forward with its marketing outreach. A TV ad campaign will begin today across a variety of channels, introducing the Group and the brand to a whole new audience. The theme of the ad is Get Back To Work Safely but it is also about brand awareness and widening our client base. The ad was professionally designed and is to be aired on the Sky News channel amongst others.

Speaking about the TV ad campaign Group GM, Hamish Russell commented:

2020 Born Problems Require Solutions – Westminster Solutions

Over the past number of months Westminster has been working at full throttle, vigorously pursuing new opportunities to a world that requires solutions for a range of 2020 born problems. Exciting times that just keep coming.

Whether it is Online Training Courses or Fever Screening Products, Unattended Retailing (Vending Machines) or Personal Protective Equipment, Westminster has the solution to meet the problem head on. Westminster Fever Screening Products Implemented in Successful Scandinavian Airport Trial

Westminster’s fever screening products were implemented in a successful trial at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Working in synergy with Menzies Aviation and their airline clients the “live” trial was conducted at the boarding gate of a flight to Paris(CDG).

Utilising the Westminster fever screening solution Menzies Aviation will continue to conduct operational trials with their airline partners over the coming weeks in order to fine tune an effective delivery to this added layer of safety and security. Feedback from the first live trial was extremely positive with all passengers screened as they presented their boarding passes at the departure gate. The trial at Stockholm Arlanda Airport is Westminster’s first trial at a Scandinavian airport as it looks to widen its client database and airport presence.

Commenting on the trial Westminster’s GM, Hamish Russell, said “working with Menzies Aviation on the trial has been excellent. We have worked hard in order to supply them with the correct solution for their fever screening requirements that is fit for purpose and has the least impact on an already complex procedure and time frame. I need to thank all those involved at Menzies Aviation both in the UK and their team in Sweden for their efforts.”

Westminster Awarded X-Ray Scanner (Checked Baggage) Contract

Westminster have been awarded an X-Ray Scanner contract to supply a number of checked baggage scanners to a client in the Far East.

A sign that the world is beginning to open up to the ‘New Normal’ our enquiries for non Covid-19 products have risen significantly as industry begins its returns to work. In this respect we are pleased to have been awarded an important X-ray Screening contract, valued at over $136,000, to a key client in the Far East.

The contract not only includes advanced screening equipment but also implementation and training as part of a turnkey solution and one of the reasons the client chose Westminster as the designated specialist.

Level of Enquiries and Sales of Non-COVID 19 Products Rise as the World Begins the Return to Work

A surge in enquiries and sales of non-Covid 19 products is a pleasing sign that industry is starting the slow process of getting back to work and kickstarting economic growth.

The filtering of business employees and customers alike combined with increased operations of a number of industry sectors has increased the levels of enquiries and sales of non-Covid 19 products over the past two weeks. Westminster’s CEO “delighted” at Fever Screening & Sanitiser Stations contract

Westminster has been awarded a contract to provide a leading global investment management corporation with a range of fever screening and safety equipment to be deployed in its worldwide offices as part of their ‘Return to Work’ programme. The contract, valued at $665,000 USD, includes the provision of a range of fever screening systems covering different applications together with sanitisation stations for 85 offices in 37 countries around the world.
