Description
The WG H Occupied Vehicle Scanner has been designed to x-ray screen cars and motor vehicles with a maximum height of 2.7 metres and a width of 2.6 metres.
It will identify hidden contraband, such as smuggled goods, explosives, narcotics, weapons and concealed persons or animals.
The smuggling of persons, illicit items such as weapons, explosives, prohibited goods, and other contraband is becoming more prevalent in vehicles.
It is capable of a typical throughput of approximately 180 cars per hour, this assumes that each car is travelling at 8 km/hr and allocating 20 seconds for a single operator to review each image, by using two operators the throughput can be significantly increased to around 225 vehicles per hour.
The system shoots its X-ray beams from above downward towards the car, producing a clear plan view image across the entire vehicle including around the wheels, fuel tank, battery and car interior, unlike competitor’s systems that use a side angled beam that produces a distorted, hard to interpret image
